Ashley Dillard

1st year Graduate Student

Ashley Dillard is a 1st year graduate student in the Experimental Psych program . She received her bachelors in psychology from Western Carolina University and is a 3rd generation Catamount graduate. Her focus is in Social Psychology, with research interests entailing mood/perception and entertainment media. After graduating she plans on pursuing her Ph.D. in Social Psychology and potentially going on to teach at a university. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies/T.V. shows, going out to eat, spending time with loved ones, and going on adventures.

Garrett Goodwin

1st year Graduate Student

Garret is a first year Experimental Psychology student. He is currently part of the Social Psychology research lab and the Gender and Relationship at Western. His research interest include contingencies of self-worth and masculinity contingency.

Riley McCallus

1st year Graduate Student

Riley is a 1st year experimental graduate student with an interest in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her research interests include leadership development and employee retention. She grew up in Pawleys Island, SC and received her B.S. in Psychology from Furman University. After she graduates from Western Carolina, she hopes to pursue a PhD in I/O Psycholog

Anna Schneree

1st year Graduate Student

Anna is a 1st year Experimental Psychology graduate student who is focusing on Social Psychology, specifically gender and prejudice, and how these issues affect both the subjects and those around them. She is from Monmouth, Illinois and went to Monmouth College for her undergraduate education. After graduating from WCU she hopes to earn her Ph.D in Applied Social Psychology. In her free-time she enjoys reading, “Netflixing”, and eating good pizza.

Noely Banos

2nd Year Graduate Student

Noely Banos is a 1st year graduate student in the General Experiment program, with a focus in Social Psychology. Noely grew up in California until she her sophomore year in high school where she lived in Mississippi. She received her bachelors in psychology from the University of Mississippi. Her research interest include prejudice, stereotypes and masculinity. After graduating she hopes to earn her Ph.D in Social Psychology. In the event that she has free time, Noely enjoys sleeping and binge watching Netflix.
